4月5日讯 在回答球迷提问时，The Athletic名记大卫-奥恩斯坦谈到了关于利物浦选帅的话题，他透露，利物浦和阿莫林已经有过对话。
有球迷提问利物浦新帅什么时候能敲定时，奥恩斯坦回答道：“我不知道具体的时间，但你可以想象他们希望在季前备战期之前完成任命。”
“休斯已经被任命为体育总监（尽管他要到夏天才会开始工作），哈维-阿隆索的情况也很明晰，我希望休斯能立即制定计划（诸如A计划、B计划、C计划），这意味着选帅工作很快开始（或者可能已经开始了），他应该有一个清晰的旅行方向，然后是对话、协商和完成任命。”
